Matt Dorsten

Matt Dorsten has more than a decade of industrial brokerage experience, having joined Michael Bloom Realty Company in 2012. Matt has wide-ranging responsibilities, including directing property leasing and sales (including qualifying prospective tenants, negotiating lease and sale terms, and assisting tenants and buyers from the closing of a contract through the move-in process), developing and coordinating all marketing material for listings, and advising landlords and sellers on property presentation in an effort to attract high-quality tenants and buyers. Matt also assists with property management, helping to identify building and property maintenance issues and facilitate the repair of issues by working with vetted subs, facilitating capital improvement projects, and managing tenant improvement projects, including vetting contractors/subcontractors, negotiating scope of work and pricing, and ensuring quality of workmanship. He enjoys working with local business owners to turn their visions for their businesses into reality.

Matt earned his BS in Political Science from Florida State University (go Noles!) and his Masters in Public Administration with a focus in Urban Planning from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining MBRC, he gained more than eight years of city planning experience working with local municipalities in the Central Florida area. He is experienced in all facets of the development process, including zoning, platting, development agreements, and site planning.

Ohio native Matt (go Browns!) has lived in Denver since 2011. He enjoys exploring everything Colorado has to offer with his wife and kids. Matt is a DIY enthusiast who spends his free time in manifold ways — sometimes negotiating with his kids, sometimes really into MMA and fitness, and sometimes really into cheeseburgers and IPAs.
