Michael Bloom is the Principal and Senior Broker of Michael Bloom Realty Company. A long-time Denver industrial expert known for his down-to-earth demeanor and genuine commitment to customer service, Michael plays a central role in the management and day-to-day operations of the company. Drawing on his 45+ years of industrial expertise, he provides MBRC’s clients and core team with valuable insight and guidance on industrial sales and leasing, property management, tenant representation, and receiverships. Michael is passionate about providing investors, tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers with the expertise, tools, and support they need to help their businesses grow and thrive.
A Colorado native, Michael began his career in industrial real estate in 1973. He spent his first 15 years working with Denver’s Shames-Makovsky Realty Company, participating in the sales and leasing of industrial and commercial real estate. He founded MBRC in 1988 to focus exclusively on industrial real estate in the Denver Metro. He also owns several warehouse properties, giving him a first-hand appreciation of the needs and priorities of property owners.
Michael earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a licensed real estate broker with the State of Colorado. Over the years, he has received several industry honors, including the ProLogis Broker of the Year and NAIOP Real Estate Professional of the Year (Colorado Chapter). Michael has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of Denver Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR), a Community Representative on the Environmental Review Committee for the City and County of Denver Zoning Administration, and as a court-appointed receiver for several large industrial properties. He is also an active board member of several local charities. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three daughters, and their families. They especially enjoy skiing, golf, and hiking together.
